Berowra Tavern, 27 April 2014 ....

We arrived early at McGraths Hill Maccas and headed inside for coffee and a catch-up. Before we knew it, it was time to leave (10:15 am). Heading-off via Northern Road and Berowra Waters Ferry. A great scenic drive for those who haven’t been that way before. Led by our ‘elite driver’ Run’s Coordinator, Bob, who kept all the cars in-sight right-up to the ferry and what a coop, the ferry had just arrived and we all got on together. A slow careful drive up to the tavern to arrive at 11.40. Inside at our ‘booked’ table, drinks taken and meals ordered. Great meals, roast lamb, chicken schnitzel, lamb cutlets all big meals and at a reasonable price.

By 1:30pm lunch was over and farewells to some who had other places to be and others gathered in the car park for a chin wag. Some went home via the freeway and with light rain falling some headed back to the ferry and home via Sackville to Windsor and Penrith.

Hope everyone arrived home safe and I hope everyone enjoyed the day out.
