Run Report ....

Thirroul, 23 February 2014 ....

I hope everyone had a prosperous New Year and an enjoyable Christmas break. The first run of the year down to Thirroul with fish and chips on (near) the beach. We met at Leo’s Diner and left at 10:00am for a leisurely drive down Appin Road to Bulli. Bob kept a steady pace to arrive and park so everyone could catch-up on what was happening. Good to see a great day down south. Scott and Leanne met us for lunch and a chat after their ‘secret wedding business’.

Orders were done and seating inside was the go. Busy little shop, lots of people coming and going. We had table service, no newspaper for our chips, we had square plates and the fish was nice and fresh.

After lunch farewells were said and customary photo and it was off on our drive home along the Seascape Bridge. Good to see everyone enjoy today’s run with beautiful weather, the sun was shining and there was a nice breeze. It was good to take the car out again.
