Catherine Hill Bay, 28 April 2013 ....

A great run north to the quaint heritage village of Catherine Bay for which, the weather was just spot on. As Runs Coordinator, I arrived at the starting point to be greeted by Rob, Les and Liz. Soon after, Peter and Angie turned up followed by Scott and Leanne.

The group departed right on scheduled time and we were joined by Rob Shaw and two of his 'FourShaws' at the start of the freeway. Picking our way through the traffic and there was plenty of it, we made a pitstop at Palmdale and then were soon at our turn off point.

A timely arrival for lunch at the Catherine Hill Bay pub saw us meet-up with the Aldridge family who live not so far away, these days. Parked the cars and made our way into the pub, getting our orders in early was an imperative as this pub gets packed on sundays!

Despite the crowd, service was great and everyone was soon tucking into an enjoyable lunch. Before 13:00 we were all done and dusted.

A minor chatathon in the parking area saw most of the country's and some of the world's problems solved, then time to head for home to join the 'beat the rush', rush! A top day was had and a good roll-up for members and families.
