St Albans, 22 April, 2012 ....

The morning started off a bit foggy, but by the time we met and departed the weather had improved. This was just a good drive from McGarths Hill to St Albans.

The road was still a bit wet from the rain in places but the sun was out by the time we reached the ferry. Luckly we all got on the ferry at the same time (no second trip). From here it was just a short drive to the pub. The place was packed. This was because of the local folk festival. No one in our group could be talked into joining in the activities. Lunch was ordered and served pretty quick. After lunch we sat around and chated for a while. Some of the group went to the trash and treasure market (more trash then treasure so I was told). Soon after this the group headed-off to beat the crowd back to the ferry. Overall this was a good run and a big thank you to all who made the effort too attend.
